Plain Grace
Plain Grace End-of-Life Doula Care offers non-medical services to support both the dying and their loved ones before, during, and after death.
Companionship & Presence
At the heart of this work is simple human presence — keeping company. I offer companionship for those nearing life’s end, creating a calm and grounded space where each moment can unfold naturally.
End-of-Life &
Legacy Planning
Together, we can explore wishes for care, vigil, and remembrance. This may include guidance with end-of-life planning, legacy projects, letter writing, or other ways to help articulate what feels unfinished or worth passing on.
Organizational Assistance
I help families navigate the logistics and emotional demands of change — coordinating with care teams, clarifying needs, and supporting communication and decision-making. The goal is steadiness and clarity at a time when both can feel in short supply.
Practical
Support
End-of-life care often asks for many small kindnesses. I assist with errands, household tasks, meal preparation, and day-to-day organization, easing the burden on families and caregivers so they can focus on what matters most. I work collaboratively with existing care teams to ensure seamless support and guidance.

My Approach
I aim to do work that is meaningful, simple and human:
to bear witness and offer support at the edge of change.
Rooted in the landscape and communities of coastal Maine, Plain Grace is a practice of accompaniment, consideration, and care. I offer my clients a relationship where dying is neither hidden nor denied, and instead is met with dignity and grace.
